Two Minute Manifesto @ Comrie Conversations with Scott Hames and June McEwan

  • Comrie White Church

Two Minute Manifesto is back with a nation-wide tour of our trademark ideas fest for 2016. We're pitching up in the Perthshire village of Comrie. The event will feature:

Scott Hames: lecturer in Scottish literature at Stirling University. Editor of Edinburgh Companion to James Kelman and Unstated: Writers on Scottish Independence. Co-editor of the International Journal of Scottish Literature).

June McEwan: a professional artist based in Crieff and can turn her hand to almost anything. She has extensive experience of providing art workshops for children and adults of all abilities and is possibly best know for her flair in turning environmental issues into fun crafts. Her ethos is "you don't have to be 'good at art' to participate and benefit from creative expression".

Ewan McPherson: singer/songwriter, instrumentalist and music producer. He has a wide range of experience as a performer and in the studio.

Christopher Silver: is a writer and producer. Raised in Shetland, he currently lives in Edinburgh. His first book Demanding Democracy: The Case for a Scottish Media, was published in December 2015.

Rachel Amey: poet/spoken word artist, currently studying sign language.
